Immortal Flames offer Little Ladies to be Sultana for a Sun

In honoring the humility of Sultan Baldric Thorne and the spirit of Princess Edvya Thorne, the Immortal Flame Yataghans of the 1st Main Brigade are facilitating a competition that will see one lucky lady be treated as a princess for Little Ladies' Day. It goes without saying that all entrants must be female.

Participating Flame soldiers will accompany the winner for the sun, and will do anything the Little Lady commands within the boundaries of legality, decency, and safety. The winner is guaranteed to have at least the Commanding Officer of the Yataghans, Chief Flame Sergeant Kale Aideron, to be with them at all times, while other soldiers will be in attendance depending on their duty schedules. The winner can expect the very best in royal service from their Immortal Flame retainers!

Competition entry is simple; interested ladies must write on a piece of parchment in three hundred words or less explaining who they are and why they aspire to be Sultana for a Sun. If an interested lady cannot read or write, an assigned adjutant at the Hall of Flames will be on hand to serve as a scribe. Interested ladies have one week from the time of this posting to submit their applications, until the first week of the 2nd Astral Moon.Â

Nymeia smile upon all Little Ladies, who will always be princesses, competition or none!

((It's as it says, coinciding with the Little Ladies' DayÂ seasonal event! Post up your in-character entry by the 5th March on this thread, and a winner will be selected at random. Who knows? If there is enough interest, maybe there'll be multiple winners!Â The winner will communicate privately with myself to organize the best time and date to play out their prize! Hope to see some creative entries!))

My friend, Janie Fhruhwabwyn, would make a great candidate. She's a dedicated archer of Gridania and really deserves a little pampering after all the work she has done around the city and the Shroud. I would really like to see her get out of the Shroud again for a little while, so she can see a little more of Eorzea. What better city-state than Ul'dah!

I would like to submit this on behalf of my dear friend, Siha Xinkei. Â She is a bright and cheerful person with a kind heart, who thinks of everyone else but herself. Â She recently worked tirelessly for a sake of a friend, foregoing her own safety and well-being, thinking only of his welfare.

I think she is long overdue for some pampering, one that she would never seek on her own. Â I would love for her to be treated like a Princess for a sun, and as someone who considers her like a sister, Siha truly deserves such a day. She may even refuse out of humility but if chosen, I will assure you she will happily take part, for who would refuse the honorable Immortal Flames?

To my Fellow Defenders of Ul'dan, the Immortal Flame Yataghans,

I am most intrigued by this competition, and while I myself am not suitable, I would like to nominate a friend. Roen Deneith is my apprentice and aspiring Sultansworn, and what better training to guard the Sultana than to be one for a day?

Also, despite her protests to the contrary, Roen has always wanted to be a little princess. If she wins she will be unbelievably happy, possibly so much so that she'll run away from you in delight. She might say things as, "Please no...", "Why..?", and "Who did this to me?", but that will just be her embarrassment talking.

So please, give a future servant of Ul'dah one last chance to be pampered.

PS: If she wins please don't reveal the source of the nomination, Roen will feel guilty that she is unable to repay the massive gift I am offering her.

Â Â My name is Saoirse Alimere and I would like to be considered for your 'Sultana for a Sun' competition. I hail from Limsa Lominsa and recently had a stay in your fair city of Ul'dah where I was fortunate enough to meet a few fine people and was shown about the city. I was astounded by the lavish wealth of Â the city itself, particularly in the Royal Promenade, as well as in the Golden Court. It even inspired me to seek some training from the gladiators and take up a shield and sword.

I'm sure it is every girls wish to be a Sultana, even if it is just for a simple sun, and to experience Ul'dah in such a fashion would be quite the dream come true. Thank you for your consideration!

Greetings to the hard working soldiers, my name is Ellaria Althene of 43rd Senator of Royalist party in Ul'dah, and Professor of Alchemy Guild. I would like to claim that your offer of having one special lady to command your squad to be most exuberant and splendid idea, and that I hope to request that Mizuho Mitarashi to become a considerable candidate to be your squad's leader, or should I say a "princess" of Yataghans.Â

Miss Mitarashi from her past shows that she is from a distant far east where she has arrived to experience about Ul'dah and other nations and see the difference from her so-called tribes. Perhaps it is one of those opportunity to let her know what it means of being an Immortal Flame soldier, or even at least let her know what kind of potential she has as a leader.Â

Should she not be considered as a candidate, then I will gladly accept your final decisions on the best qualified lady. However, I feel that foreigners such as Miss Mitarashi is undoubtedly a high candidate with no doubts after getting to know this person. A hyur with determination, with strong resolve Â mind and her duty to bring pride in her family's name is without a perfect candidate for an Immortal Flame soldier, whether it'd be a leader or a soldier. And Miss Mitarashi holds all of them.Â

She holds true love to Ul'dah and she seems to put many interest in this city as a foreigner, and I believe that the Yataghans and Miss Mitarashi will definitely have a spectacular time for a day where the two will bring greatest bonds of friendship and alliance.
