Can anyone provide me with information regarding the lore for Eorzean laws on Sea Wolf pirates? If a pirate got caught by [x] government person(s)/police/military, what would happen to them? Also, what is the average lifespan of a Sea Wolf pirate?
I know that during the 'golden age of piracy' in the real world (during the 1700's), piracy was highly illegal and pirates were generally considered as what we would now call terrorists. If a pirate were to be caught by the British (or Spanish, French, etc), the pirate would end up being either tortured or executed, or both. Because of this the mortality rate of pirates was high, the average lifespan low. One of the longest living pirates (La Buse) only made it to 42.Â
So given all that ^ I'd like to make the assumption that it's similar in FFXIV? Correct me if I'm wrong.
Last question: how would you pronounce Irynfyst Aerstfyrsyn? (My own OC).
