Most of my characters' backgrounds are off-cam, so to speak. Their pasts and what they've done so far are mostly things I have come up with, not something I have RP'ed out with others. Yes, they are rather new, as I have been on and off FFXIV, created new characters, alts, changed the ones I had until I finally settled with those I have now... and I have my eyes on the Au Ra which I will make a new main as and start over, more or less.
So the things I would write about on my characters' wiki sites would be my own fanfiction and not accomplishments done through online RP. So far, the only thing I can write about that a character of mine has actually done through RP is a love story which I played out with a fantastic RP'er who has become a good friend of mine.
... But that's still "just" one thing.
What do you guys think?
Even though I haven't gotten alot of RP plots played out with my characters, but are mostly headcanon, should I write their wiki sites?
Or should I wait until I've done some more RP and get something to write about?
Might be an expected answer, but I'd say do what you want. Kellach saying "Do it" makes me want to back him up, though! And adding on to what Kellach says, if it's all head-canon it can help you keep things organized in your head, so long as you have the patience to put it all on paper and would remain interested in the character after the beans are slightly spilled. I know that I personally have problems enjoying characters after I spill out their entire history in a wiki or profile, but that can be easily remedied with a wordpad and simply snipping out or spoilering the history sections! It'd probably be best to advise to create a wiki on a character you intend on keeping, take it from me, because if it's a fling of an alt you might end up wanting to junk the wiki after deleting the character. xD
