Lillith has one mount, and that is her trusty Chocobo Kainami, over whom she gets very defensive.
Kainami is a bit of a...special Chocobo. The Miqo'te came across it while entering the stables to receive her company mount. The troublesome chocobo had broken free of it's handlers and ran full tilt into Lillith, sending her sprawling to the ground. Instead of continuing in it's persuit for freedom, Kai stopped, leaned down and pulled Lillith back to her feet by tugging on her tunic with it's beak. It then proceeded to simply stare at her.
Lillith stared back, and found that this mount seemed to be suffering some type of disability, while one eye stared straight back at her, the other went askew, looking in a completely different direction. This chocobo was walleyed.
Â
"Kweh." It uttered in a completely monotone voice.
The handler of course made a big fuss over the incident and tried to get Kai back into it's stable but the big bird kept stepping away from the handler, each time ducking behind Lillith. Laughing, she began to stroke the mount's back and insisted she would take this steed for her own. This, of course, lead to several hours of the handler explaining why it was a very, very bad idea. Lillith didn't find a reason for worry however, and dismissed his warnings, taking the mount for her own.
Much to her surprise, Lillith learned that Kainami was fast, fast enough that even with the disability it could keep up with normal chocobos, and could even go neck and neck with a Chocobo bred specifically for speed. On the down side however, Kai appears to be incredibly simple minded, prone to flopping on the ground and rolling about in the dust, walking funny, standing and staringly blankly with it's tongue hanging out of it's beak, "petting" people by flopping it's head against theirs, and chewing on hair. Kai also seems to only be able to make one sound, a very flat, mono toned Kweh.
Kai has a particular fondness for the hair of one Meta Xi, who has a slight aversion to the strangeness of the bird.Â
Despite this however, Lillith is fiercely loyal and protective of her Chocobo, whom in term is just as protective over it's Master, often rushing to defend the archer should she find herself in a situation she can not handle.
