Hydaelyn Role-Players

Greetings friends,
I just registered to this forum while waiting for the maintenance to be done, and I'd like to present myself.

--MMORPG background
I play regularly WoW (don't kill me!). I've been playing a lot of Tera Rising, the Secret World, ESO and Guild Wars 2. Tried also some Rift, Aura Kingdom and some others

--RP experience
I used to RP massively ages ago in an Italian crappy play-by-post rp game called "Extremelot" (Yes I'm Italian), I never got to do rp after that as my friends were not interested and I did some bad choice with the servers I joined.

--Character ideas/info
I started playing FF online as a beta tester but quit shortly after hitting 50 with my main (a WHM) as at the time I was extremely annoyed with all the servers problems, I remember all the persons affected got a free race change, which I used, but the name change was not included so I found myself stuck in a race with a name which didn't fit and the crappy support didn't help at all. I left the game then - I think at the time i was on the server Odin and I also had my own FC with a few members), I did a short comeback some time ago during a world event (the one where you could get the tender lamb minion) then I quit again, and here I am now. I decided to start anew so I changed race to Au Ra Raen and name, at the moment I'm working on the main quest as apparently I hadn't even start the patch 2.1. After few days of playing I am mid way through the 2.55 and will soon be able to go to Ishgard where I wish to become an Astrologian <3
I love RP but honestly I don't know where to start. I imagine my character is sweet, peaceful and bit mysterious and she loves animals and dragons, that's a start I presume?

--What kind of a role-player are you aiming to be? Light, medium, or heavy?
I'd say medium! But we'll see
Normally I hate to rush through the content, I am very slow, I like to explore, do a bit of this and a bit of that (ok I'm lazy) anyway I like to do a bit of everything.

--Anything from real life you'€™re comfortable with sharing? (Work, school, hobbies, etc)
At the moment I live and work in Ireland but I will soon move to Finland with my boyfriend. I have 2 cats and a dog, I wish I could find a dragon. I love pizza.

What sort of FC are you looking for theme-wise? It would definitely help us to make a few suggestions, and honestly if this is the one thing holding you back I'd jump ship already! Tons of open RP go on in Balmung, and this is how I ended up sort of stumbling into my FC.

I have honestly no idea because as I said, I'm new to rp on this game, so I don't know what to expect... but I would like to find a FC which also does a bit of content, so that we could also do some dungeon/raids together. That's all I know as for the server transfer, I was able to make it finally! So am officially on Balmung now

Well while I'm not sure which sort of Free Company will fit your mood, a good spot to start making connections would be the Hugs&Cake LS. From there you can look for folks that you identify well with and reach out to see what sort of stuff they like to.
