Was your Valentione's Day celebration less than fruitful? Something or someone missing from your life? In need of some companionship? We have a simple solution for you! Harbingers of Dawn <<HoD>> will be holding a date auction on Saturday, February 22nd starting at 7:00 PM EST (4:00 PM PST), at Mih Khetto's Amphitheatre in Old Gridania (10,9), in order to raise funds for our company housing. This event will be in character. We'll be auctioning off an evening with our members to the highest bidders! Don't be put off by the word "date"--it need not be romantic! You can use your date as a test subject for that new potion you've created, as your bodyguard to escort you on that treasure hunt you've been planning--whatever you desire!
Bidding will be done with real gil. All proceeds will go to the Harbingers of Dawn free company for our housing fund. Characters outside of our FC may volunteer to be auctioned as dates, but we will keep the full proceeds. If you are interested in being auctioned, send me a private message! This is all in good fun, and not meant to be a slave action/ERP/sexual thing, therefore if it any time our dates feel uncomfortable OOC or forced into something unpleasant, they can and will end the date. Feel free to post any questions, comments, concerns, or suggestions!

Rei'zahnta is a Miqo'te who has talks and acts as if she doesn't care for other people, or as if she has no emotions. She talks in a monotone voice and sounds as if she is a machine, like a programmed message. She entered the auction out of curiosity and a desire to find a potential subject for her experimentation (friend?). While it's hard to gauge how she feels about most things, she will at least try most things unless she thinks they will cause her major bodily harm. She will most likely be an interesting date and probe information out of the potential experimental subject... (right, sorry, date!). The date at least will be interesting and fun... right?
Mimiru Miru

She is also a self-defined writer and poet, while also possessing a quick wit that goes well with comedic interests. And if nothing else, she is a level-headed individual who can assist with most anything that troubles your life with a friendly ear. She's also well read in erotic novels, but don't let her know you know that!

Val Nunh
Mercenary by trade and playboy by nature, Val has quite a lot to bring to the table. One doesn't need to worry about what the Seeker thinks of them; he's not afraid to blatantly tell them. He enjoys a good wine or whiskey and can often be found relaxing alone in some random locale. While he may be a little rough around the edges, those that take the time to know him tend to find that he's quite the ally to have at their side.

Faye Covington
Lady Faye Covington is a noblewoman, though most find her confident attitude more bold than the usual demure, spoiled rich girl. She would be happy to share a quiet dinner or conversation over a cup of tea, or for the more adventurous sort, she is a conjurer who can mend your wounds and keep you in one piece. Her prim and proper behavior can lead some to find her snooty or cold, but she is quite kind and charitable. Though, be warned, she is not lacking in sass or a sharp tongue if you earn her ire!
Edgar Gandervalt
Dural Shieldsplitter
If mountains could smile, they'd no doubt look something like this grinning giant of a Highlander. As open and honest as he is able and willing, Dural would be the first to admit that he's probably not the most suitable mind for holding an academic discussion on, say, the benefits of aetherial manipulation in, for instance, construction... but! If you're looking for a few pointers on how to swing something, from an axe, to a fist, to the nearest Miqo by the tail, or just someone to spend an evening with, chatting away the hours discussing whatever springs to mind... Dural? Dural's an absolute -steal- for any price.
Barbarccia Valadis
Barbarccia is anything but a simple girl. She is confident, capable, and knows exactly what she wants and how to go about getting it. Her personality is generally charismatic, kind, and polite as long as she's enjoying the mood, on the contrast she can be quick to be on the defense and is often the victim of shattered ego. Her favorite hobbies as of late appear to be causing mischief, delegating work, enjoying hot beverages, and seemingly disappearing for hours on end. She's an academic mind quite gifted in the fields of magic and a doctor by trade. She enjoys having a good time, the details not being important, but she absolutely detests doing any actual work herself.
Vasyl Bloodmoon
Vasyl is more than just your average adventurer; he is a researcher of the primals and other aetheric phenomenon. While his reasons for studying such beings is unknown, his studies have clearly paid off given the strength of his egi's. He is a generally kind soul who spends his downtime either fishing, sunbathing, or conversing on any subject. So whether you're looking for someone to help you take down a rather nasty beast, someone to test an experiment on, or just someone to chat with, then Vasyl is your Manqo'te.
Lainseworth Ravencraft
An artist in every sense of the word, Lainseworth Ravencraft can most certainly be a valuable asset to anyone. His jokes are corny, and his voice a bit hard to understand, but underneath all the awkwardness is a big ball of love that no one has come to understand yet. He can be a bit of a goofball, but he is sincere and will never tell a fib should honesty be needed. He is irrefutably shy, and will cater to anyone's needs, a true friend in all respects. He works as a personal secretary, making a fair amount of money in the process. With a fashion sense that would make even the Sultana jealous, Lainseworth will surely be a wonderful date. Unsoiled goods are often the best, yes?
Zethie Aldis
Zethie is a male Miqo'te of twenty-one cycles with white colored hair as well as his tail. Zethie is a little naïve at times, as well as shy. He is also very trustful and will go to any lengths to defend someone should he need. He's up for most things, be it either adventure or just to sit down for a chat. Any bidder wouldn't be disappointed, though, as he tries his best to make others happy despite his shy nature.
Aziza Nightshade
Aziza Nightshade more commonly can be found buried in a pile of books or engrossed by an ancient artifact. She comes from the far away land of Othard. Being that she was raised in a Keeper of The Moon clan, she can come off as a pretty timid and shy person, especially around other male Miqo'te. She warms up quick, and when she does she can be a kindhearted and caring person. She hates the sunlight and has a particular dislike of Dragons.
Anstarra Silverain
Bright-eyed, generously-curved, and with a smile described both as mischievous and serene, Anstarra draws the gaze of onlookers whether strutting down the street fully dressed or lounging on the beach in a bikini. But don’t be fooled… the personal aide, secretary and bodyguard of the Strategy Branch’s top officer is more than just a pretty face. Though her public demeanor is demure, elegant, even flirtatious at times, Star is capable of instantaneous and terrible violence. Born in a tribal sect known for their savage brutality, this mostly-tame warrior girl has only honed her skills through years of training as an elite Dragoon. By contrast, in recent times she has developed a passion for the theatrical arts, and holds scholastic interests that range broad (if not yet particularly deep). As a date, she would be equally at home hanging off your arm at a cocktail party, hiking through the twisting paths of the deep Shroud, or leaping into battle by your side with unbridled ferocity.
Hildelana Ashdale
Tired of dates who have seen more war than you? Frustrated that your would be love affair has slain dragons and had tea with death himself while you can barely take care of the roach problem in your inn room? Well look no further! While Hilde may look like another adventurer, you have to blame her parents! This tall, bronze-skinned beauty is the company culinarian of the Harbingers and will slay your taste buds with her wonderful cooking! And if the idea of a hot cooked meal for your gil isn't enough she's also quite the intellectual for those whom find themselves among tomes more than people. A free chocolate pearl is promised to each bidder, so if nothing else, do it for the chocolate!
Luceila Ancieti
Her skin is so pale that snow looks dirty next to it. Her beautiful blue and white eyes glisten with mystery and emptiness. Her lips clamp together with the power of a vice, a dark blood red. The black hair flows down onto one of her shoulders. Her entire presence is extraordinary, yet not much is actually known about the one known by as The Wanderer, but by a small few known as Luceila Ancieti. Luceila cannot normally be found due to, well, the nickname Wanderer did not come from sitting still. She cannot seem to actually sit still in one place for too long, not for any actual reason. Some would assume she was running from the law. The law, however, has no idea who she is. Her personality is one of caring and concern for anyone around her. If you are looking for someone who would go slaughter a dragon so you can shave with its scales, just find Luceila. She would be willing to do anything just to make someone happy, except part with her sword. Don't ask her, she will just turn tail and walk away.
