I had wanted Ruru to set something like this up, like a back room casino type thing for rp and such, but I struggle with the logistics (ie how to rp a card game, or a dice game). And being on a console makes it harder to sort of have access to the web like that even though I still think it's an awesome idea. I even thought it would be cool when personal housing comes to have the house be the casino. But again, it's tricky. You would need help from others to "run" the games.
First off.. how in the world did I miss this thread when it was first posted?!Â
Now more to business, the FC I am in resides in Limsa but presently they are still in the progress of forming so I don't really want to advertise the group too much.. maybe in a few weeks when things settle down in real life for the leaders.
As far as my thoughts on rp locations.. I rp quite a bit on the outskirts of the city so to say (like the Anchor was mentioned). Also I try to pull some rp aspects to the Black/Armorsmith guild seeing as this is primarily where my character resides.
Though maybe I have bad luck .. seems most of my contacts interested in rp'ing out trading of materials or repair work or crafting in general seem to vanish before first contact is even made.Â
Now for the locations listed... I linger about the Drowning Wench seeing as that is where most of the rp'ing I have found in Limsa happens. I forget about the Missing member if I am honest but it seems I may have to venture over there from time to time now. I've seen a bit of rp at the two guilds as well (mar and arc) but they seem to be mainly training sessions or I suppose possible sign ups for enlisting into the enforcement groups about the area.Â

Nooo, don't lurk! The more voices active about the topic, the better chance we have of building something lasting that gets more people involved.
And yes, please please do post your FC's information here when it's ready!
I haven't really hung around the guilds too much since my character probably wouldn't be welcome unless she had business there *coughcough* -- but I admit to curiosity -- are there enforcement groups in Limsa? I haven't seen any in game, but that is definitely something I'd love to know.

Zhi would definitely visit if it was near Limsa! I don't suppose you'd be interested in operating a sort of dual-location operation? One in Costa and one somewhere in Limsa? You should totally have them in the Rum n Rumble once it opens, too.

I'm going to post some thoughts regarding a treasure hunt rp later (when I'm more awake and coherent) -- in the meantime, if anyone has ideas please don't hesitate to plop them down! Also, if we could get the gambling and the burlesque stuff going on in the same place . . .that would be so freaking awesome.
That is, hopefully, the plan! I still need confirmation from Isis, but since she's in my FC she has free run of the place.
(Isis you can also roll an alt to put in our Dummy guild to set up the RnR the way you want to for Burlesque nights.

I normally don't have much to say that isn't already voiced better then I can ^^;
As far as any enforcement groups.. I don't think I'v seen any. I was thinking about that the other day on how it would be kinda neat to get into one or help in starting one. I'd say it wouldn't be good for my character to join it given my FC's story but at the same time Limsa is sorta based around similar grounds so it might work out ..

Well for now I need wha any establishment needs to get the ball rolling. Employees. And this is somethign I may need to talk over with Armi but a few entertainers who could also work in the RnR as staff. Lets work on an rp connection between my Miqo and any chatacter you might want to rope in.

I have my Miqo character is who a twin of the original owner of Ambrosia. Y'Vahri Svihkalsma who I'd like to task with doing that. For now I just have to get some RP going for that character before throwing her into that role. Plus she would have to meet Guin etc, which wont be hard.
