To be fair, for me it was "I'm not going through all that again on a second character" more than anything else.
Disclaimer: Smugness is only intended for folks who specifically said relic was too much work, and that they'd just take a poetics weapon instead.
I'm just glad that the grind has paid off dividends.

Man this is driving me so mad... patch has been up for like, what? six hours now? And I still can't get it downloaded.
It downloads like 9 Kbs of it before the download ratio drops to 0Mb/s and the client shutdowns.

I... cheated and loaded up the game before going to work. If it hasn't downloaded after that eight hour period, though, I'm gonna be miffed.

I am on my third weapon to finish novus and then nexus. My others are at close to reaching nexus. By this time I'll probably work on my 4th and my last before Heavensward.Â
Though I am really glad the carbontwine to be up as weekly.
Because chances are that I won't be working on 5th zodiac.

Great, now I'm gonna be worried until I get home.
Along with figuring out how I'm going to work the Saucer over two characters. I want to get all the things for Gogon, of course, since he's my "completionist" character... but I don't want to completely ignore Chachan for the week or something. He still needs to get his poetics and stuff ("stuff" including outfits from the GS).

I understand, SE, that there is such a thing as server congestion. I understand that problems come up.
What I fail to understand, SE, is how you can go patch after patch and never once anticipate that the worst is going to happen.
THE WORST CASE SCENARIO is what happens every single time, but instead of preparing for the worst, you prepare for the best. You and every other company that owns an MMO does this.

To be honest, this patch gave me the (teeny tiny) opportunity for the Oasis Doublet which I like and the Carbontwine which I love.
Gold Saucer? it never was my thing in FF7. I couldn't care less about Triple Triad. The only reason I care is... well. I'd like a fat chocobo minion. The Doublet. The Fenrir mount. :V
