Double-posting because reasons.

This stage of Zodiac is the easiest. I don't have the specifics because I'm not in game yet but you will be affixing mahatma to your weapon. Each costs 200 soldiery, and gains lights like the Novus stage. However, they only require 40~ lights to finish.

We'll have people completing them by lunch time today, and the glows look absolutely sick.

Well, I suppose that's a nice capper, then. I just have to finish the Lights stage... then the dungeon atmas... and then I can do that. Bleh. I broke my unspoken promise to always be ONE stage behind in Zodiac progression each time it updated (ie, hit Lights when the last one came out, be on dungeon atma when this one dropped). Just... haven't really felt the need to grind Lights. I'm still three tiers away from finishing it too...

Even if you play casually, if you have the Zodiac weapon and are heading into Zeta stage you'll be done in a week's worth of daily roulettes.

I suck at Triple Triad. Always did, especially cause I didn't get far in what very little I played of FFVIII.

Wrong. Live video showed that Yoshi P made a joke about Gundam reference there and was originally going to call it Mahatama but left it as an item

Triple Triads is very tricky but yeah I remember I nearly threw my ps1 and PS3 trying to beat Queen of Cards with her stealing all of my cards that I put so much effort in collecting them.Â

I haven't done any of new patches yet but chances are that it'll be hit or miss for me since it doesn't really have Blackjack or Poker Sad

This patch is "use relic to catch up" not a tomestone.

It's sorta interesting because Soldiery tomes came out in the first unlock during ST.

I noticed that too, now you can choose which one you'd like for the week. I was going to start purchasing/upgrading the accessories for my off-classes, but this little change should hold that off for another month of so. Gogon has almost all un-upgraded Poetics gear on his left side save for gloves and skirt...

This thing they're doing with the encrypted tomestones really irritates me.

What is even the point of gating i120+ weapons behind relic quests and Coil for so damn long? Final Coil itself has already reached its end-of-life phase.

Not that I actually need the extra damage, but it feels wrong, like they're just stringing us along. Throw me a bone here, already!

Which is weird, you figure they could have just made the weekly quest offer coat/twine/tome options. That's probably coming in 2.51b.

I get to be smug with my relic, though. So many people just said "I'll wait for a tomestone weapon."

Tomestone is still FCOB Turn 2 / Turn 11 only.

it's interesting that they gated the weapon but maybe it's cause the zodiac was made i135 in 2.51?

We'll see what happens in 2.55 then.

To be fair, for me it was "I'm not going through all that again on a second character" more than anything else. Blush
