I'm a new player, so, it's all a little overwhelming still but it's awesome to see such an active RP community!

How new are we talking here? There's a lot of information and helpful sources here, be it for gameplay, progression or just world-building and lore munching. If you've got questions or just want some feedback, don't be afraid of making threads in appropriate sections, sending PMs asking people for help or hitting people up in game!

I peeked at your profile here on the forums, and saw that you're EU-based, according to the time? On the assumption that I'm correct (I'm British, it's safe to bet I'm correct

You are correct, yes! I'm British too, so, yeah. EU-based fits the bill.Â
Thank you for the link, I'll be sure to give it a look over. I've actually got an FC already which seems to be fitting for the most part, but, something more appropriate for my timezone might become necessary so I'll keep it in mind.
As for the character concept, um, I've got a little worked out.Â
It's probably not worth dumping the whole lot here though.Â

No need to rush! A basic idea is usually enough to start with, and you can flesh it out and make adjustments as you go along. And, of course, you're always free to ask questions if you want to be extra-sure you're lore compliant or something.
And there's nothing keeping you from posting the concept in your intro thread if you want to do that, several folks have done that. I'm... pretty sure I did in mine? I'll have to go back and check, it's been a while.

Yeah, I mean I've got an understanding of her personality and stuff, like what she does and all that goodness. I'm just going to develop her character as I play her!
But, yeah, I might ask a few questions because it'd be safe to say my grasp of the lore is um, slippery at best.Â
