I am a fresh faced player who's just landed in Balmung after a while of trying to get in.
I was looking to find a general rp online community and I believe it's right here!
I just wanted to say hi really. I'm developing my character. I wondered if anyone could recommend any friendly FC's or linkshells? I would like to grow my character within the context of an awesome group of people (:

Why of course dear fellow! For OOC interest I might recommend the Hugs&Cake LS. As far as IC goes however, a better feel for the direction you're hoping to take your character in would certainly help to narrow the choice to a few suitable options that you can then follow up on at your leisure.

On top of Riordyn's suggestion, if you haven't already I recommend having a snoop around the Linkshell tab above, at the Balmung section. Another LS I can recommend is Open RP, which is very friendly.
If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask!
Do you have any idea of what direction you'd like your character to go in?

As you're EU, I'd point you to the European Directory for events, linkshells and FCs that play at times friendly to us. Welcome to the RPC!

Check out the [RP Linkskell & Free Company Lists for Balmung] for things that suit you.
Also as people have mentioned us come and join us in [Hugs & Cakes Link Shell] where there is a nice positive bunch of RPers.
Open RP is also good (I know I created it)
But do look around, especially for IC ant RP themed LSs

I saw a cool looking Q&A on here for building out a character so I'mma do that first I reckon.
Will send out some requests for Hugs & Cake tonight (: I'm a big fan of both those things so I'm onboard.
Haha the Grey Mouser reference is lost on me. Am I clashing with something? XD
I'll hit up the EU directory. Also I've tried to find Open RP, no avail, I'm probably being stupid.
