Do you find it hard to RP your character sometimes? So far, I'm finding it hard at times to RP a character who might be similar to yours in some ways.

It can be, mostly because my personality is exactly the opposite. I enjoy the challenge, but I have to resist the urge to act silly. You have no idea how difficult that is for me. Trust me.

Seconded, it can be hard suppressing my desire to cause shennaniganz.

Alec Campion - Novel "Swordspoint" mostly the control fixation but with a hint of the decadence. Enjoys making a spectacle of it all, the bitter humor.
Tharkay - series "Temeraire", the one who goes out and about, but prides himself on being able to "play the role" while still retaining his freedom. Wants to be distrusted.
Stephen Maurtin - Series "Aubrey & Maurtin" (The 21 book epic that 'master & commander is based on.) I try to pull the distracted intellect, but also like to think I touched on the dependency (be it drugs or the people around him.) and the obsession.
"the doctor" - WAIT! don't roll your eyes yet! I say this only because I try to impart a certain "forgein"-ness, that hint of looking at things in an odd way, or the ability to understand but not emphasize.

For Clalaris, I took a few quirks from different characters (like Lina Inverse/Princess Milk's eating habits), but I hadn't realized until recently that one of my favorite characters inspired her.

Misao Amano/Pixy Misa from Pretty Samy
A horribly repressed Lalafell/young girl who tends to hide her innermost desires. Often feels horrible about it. Not quite as repressed around her lover/best friend. Getting drunk/turning into a dark magical girl brings out the (somewhat) worst in her.

For Lalatte, her sister, it's somewhat similar, with less ignoring her ID and more stabbing. She actually desires to go back to being repressed.

Most of her personas involve acting refined and sweet, but she's a dangerous liar. Push her buttons and she reacts not-so-refined and sweet.
