Heya! I'm Fanny, and I'm brand-spanking-new to Final Fantasy and its MMOs, though I've been an avid roleplayer for years now in all formats. I've just come from a long round of Star Wars: The Old Republic and The Secret World, picking this game up when it went on Steam Sale. I'm mostly looking for pick-up RP with people who wouldn't mind easin' me into it. I learn quick when dropped into the thick of it, but my attempts at learning the feel of the land from Wiki-diving have been less than successful.
I tend to make rather humorous, gruff or cowardly characters and enjoy traveling alongside more heroic types. I have quite a bit of experience moderating roleplay, and I enjoy roleplaying while questing. I am an adult and I'm not bothered by language or sexual content, but even I have my limits on what I deem acceptable.Â
I currently have a character on Gilgamesh named Merchant Papayon (but you can call him Papayon), a prickly and snobbish Lalafell Dunefolk merchant who sadly lost a fortune to a tricky thief. He's taken to accompanying adventurers to try and sniff out a way to make some quick money and repay his now quickly-rising debts-- as well as get his wife off his back! Despite being penniless and green to adventuring, he still maintains an arrogant air, though it's obviously he doesn't realize just how silly he looks. He is quite faithful to the Traders and worries that his loss of fortune might have compromised his standing. Though rather unpleasant in his social graces, he can be giving and willing to help out the downtrodden-- if they can put up with his attitude. Some may not want to bother, but others may find him incredibly amusing, and once they get to know him, they might even find a friend.
I have several others in the works, but they've not gotten far yet. I'm eager to get in touch with LGBT-friendly groups that house travelers, merchants or traveling merchants, or just randoms that are looking to be harassed by a tiny man with a terrible disposition.Â
I'm currently still attempting to reach level 10, as I've been horribly busy, so anyone willing to come guide a newbie along would be welcome. My goal is to mainly be a crafter of clothing and make lots of money, haha.
I'm in the EST timezone and I'm typically online from the mornings to the mid-afternoons on everyday except Tuesdays and Thursdays, when I have classes. Glad to be here!
