Same for me.. I was thinking Amazon may be busy this time of year and if they put their hosting through some of their store infrastructure there may be a bottleneck.

So, I've upgraded us to the next size up, which should bring everything back to normal (though our hosting costs have now just gone up).

Mm, it's a little tricky to say at this point, but we went from t2.small to t2.medium, which is about a 2x jump (I use reserved instances to help keep the costs down, but AWS just changed their reservation model, so that complicates comparisons).
