I could nominate Sounsyy as a shield (and maybe sword) Instructor? Or part time Peacekeeper when other weapons/styles are being taught. I do have coil on Fridays though ending at 10pm usually. So not sure I could attend every time.

Awesome! If you would like, even though the event starts at 9, we could always have your block of instruction start at 10ish, and have another person teach 9-10, then you 10-11! We can be kind of fluid with it, but if you are interested I will publish the training people thus far and get a sign up sheet out there for people to see!

Sorry all, work has been killing me this week and I've barely had time to mismanage my company to my usual extent. Expect a big(ish) update with roles we have filled, a rough schedule and more things and stuff. *Flees work responsibility*Â Cactuar

Sorry for the delay! Post updated and I will continue to work getting this together and coordinating with those needed. My hope is to get this settled soon and then put up an IC ad for the event (either in here or separately!) soon!

Updated again! Big shout out to Tribal Relations (LYNX) for stepping up to help us and offering up some people to come and serve as, well, servers! The event is still on, and things are REALLY coming together.Â

I want to thank everyone for their support and for really getting behind this, as well as everyone who cam to the FC Summit, and Erik for putting it all together so stuff like this could happen. Also, (while I am in shout out mode XD) to the Night Blades for offering to be our next gracious hosts! I will try to pester you soon and help out however I can!

NINE MORE HOURS!!!

It's today folks! The Tonberry's cleaned up the front yard, Flynt and Roger have prepped their class, LYNX will be serving up a storm and Misericorde will be keeping the peace! It's only fair since it is the big day to give the final reveals of what to expect tonight!

"The Fundamentals of Footwork and Movement" - This class will be taught by Flynt Knoltros and Roger Holmes, and intends to give new and veteran warriors insight on the importance of proper footwork and movement as it relates to close quarters engagement. The class will begin at 9:30pm, and the doors will be closed after which. While training and overseers will still be outside providing overall instruction and monitoring sparring sessions, this class is intended for those interested in learning more about the basics of movement and importance of good footwork.

GIFTS AND STUFF - Since it will be the inaugural Travelling Training Event, I decided to splurge and buy a few things to give out to some lucky trainees, servers and overseers! It's nothing too fancy, but door prizes always make things more fun when you are getting punched in the face!

A REAL NAAAAAME - So, I said early on I wanted to make sure an idea this cool had an equally cool name. Unfortunately naming things isn't always my strong suit (See: My dog is named 'Dog') but I worked long and hard (well, for a few minutes and moderately) and decided to go with a theme that I think has worked so far on the server, and that people really enjoy. We have the Grindstone. We have the Runestone. No travel related event would be complete without... A WAYSTONE. I know, not much out of the box here. BUT! We have two things going for us:

Fri-Sun is now totally stoned.
I am open to name changes should someone word more good than me.

So this is what I have so far peeps. But I want to reiterate that this isn't my event, it's OUR event! So if you want to see changes, get involved or have suggestions let me know. Other than that I am excited for tonight, and I will see you all in a few hours!
