If it makes you feel any better, the emote doesn't actually make the character models hug. You have to position and time it juuust right to get it to look like that sample screenie, sadly. =c
I can deal with having to position myself. What I can't deal with is that the end product of my efforts WILL look better than the hug emote, WILL express emotions better, WILL make better screenie material, but WON'T be available to those who want to avoid being that one guy who does marriage solely for the goodies and not the rp, aka people like myself.
It just...It sucks. It's petty, yes, but it still sucks.
