I reckon it's because all AF2 armour are 'vintage equipment' recreated by 'master artisans' from Rowena's House of Splendors. It makes sense to use Rowena's replicas given Gallant armour in-universe (as far being 200% to SE's lore) is only worn by the Warrior(s) of Light or Sultansworn officers. It'd also explain why the Curtana and the other swords are depicted as unfinished, lest the organizer actually went to kill primals to get the fully fledged versions.
