You can not truly know someone unless you are them though, but I had such a strong bond with her that it felt like we were one most of the time. It can take a huge toll on you though, not only for the one with the mental disability but the people who are close to them. Boundaries are really hard to be kept.
Anyway, I came from forum rp as well. Â Not being able to dictate the pace and nature of the rp I get is a bit jarring myself. I'm used to being the ringleader as far as the story writing goes, since that's usually what I did on the forums I played on. But now I have to say it's somewhat of a relief to not need to. I can be part of the crowd or merely silently observe if I wish. That's something hard to do in forum rp at times without a lot of terse, uninteresting posts, unless you're fine with volunteering a lot of internal monologue (like I was.).
How many hours a week do you spend roleplaying? Just curious seems like you have spent a lot of time and love into it.
