I'd like to see if anyone would be interested in attending/helping with making a guided tour through (a part of) Eorzea. The concept is fairly straight forward, we'd pick 1-2 zones, or a city state all depending, and find a way of retelling the common history for the area and its locations, maybe combined with some folk-tales of a sort.Â
So, much like you'd have city tours in the real world for tourists, just in Eorzea and a bit larger of scale + a bit more dangerous.Â
The events could be a good idea of learning lore for newcomers, but I'd imagine it would attract characters with a general thirst for knowledge, as well as characters that simply enjoy walking about the world like that.Â
If there's enough interest, I will need some help with amassing information. I know a lot of lore, but I never went in depth with each zone and even if I did, there'd probably still be something I missed.Â
My character would be good as a tour guide, but it certainly wouldn't hurt to have more than one (also because I wont be able to run events during the US primetime).. So overall I would love to collaborate with some people on this. It's a bit of a mouthful to undertake alone ^^Â
There would likely be an IC cost involved with the tours, but I am not interested in seeing real gil involved. The IC cost is simply for flavors sake, just like you'd likely pay a tutor to teach you something in other situations.Â
So anyways. Would you be interested in joining an event like this and if so which zones would you suggest for a tour?
