Just give us a few more sets of skimpy "dancer clothing" and another persistent dance emote or two. No need to lock that content behind a bunch of quests and make that cool gear only usable by the Dancer Class.
My inner pessimist would also like to add that we don't even have a proper, official roleplay server. Is SE really going to implement something of this magnitude that benefits no one besides roleplayers? I think not.
That always gets me about suggestions like this now that you mention it. I dislike when people use the term roleplay and don't really provide many reasons why non-roleplayers might like it. There's a lot of ignorance and closed-mindedness in every community, ffxiv included, so I can't help but think of all the people whom would stop reading a topic regarding something they might actually like to support, all because:
"Ugh, roleplayers..."
Generally speaking, I don't feel great about ideas centred around roleplayers, as much as I may love the concept itself. We're still the minority so we need to find reasons for other people to feel enthused about it as well.
