I got a huge amount of whispers about the immersion last time with the guards in their tabards and robes. It is in a city, but if it's what someone needs IC to show up they're more than welcome to come and be part of the event!
Most of them are usually quiet stoic types, others complain... but then some also help welcome people over to the group and encourage them to talk to those there or strike up conversation about what happened. I never anticipated how involved guards can be.

Do love your chitchat! I've gotten some great help in PMs with brainstorming and still hashing out that we'll have some sayings and blessings to pass out. Not sure yet I'll let you know!
