
I think an interruption to the usual weekly event could have been fun, should the guy have gotten permission, and worked with the venue coordinators, with the intent to entertain other RPers at the event that otherwise are observers. After all, RP is a cooperative effort. Plus, shouldn't The Judge have something to do besides look like a badass on horseback?
 But, from the accounts, it doesn't seem to have been the case that the guy made any attempts to be a team player, and was extremely rude.  To me, it also came across as extremely childish.Â
As others have said, coordinator's rules are what matter here, as it is their time and effort that goes into the event. Coordinating an interruption of that size is also a LOT of work and player wrangling to make sure all the players understand what's going on.
