I know several people who RP that the more magical skills of the Archer class are, in fact, aether-infused arrows. I've seen it done as an internal aether practice (like thaumaturgy) and an external aether practice (like conjury). I, personally, don't see anything wrong with what you're proposing, as long as you keep it to the limits of Archery (no Flare arrows
