In addition to what C'io has said (and my obvious bias, ahem), I'd also recommend getting in touch with the Hydaelyn Protectors. They're a vigilante group and may be able to offer you some other connections via their linkshell. You'll want to get in touch with Deahfel for that- I link her post in my signature below.
