Sounds good enough to me, yet I'm not an expert on lore. I do know that the slave trade is basically punishable by death in most cases everywhere in Eorzea, but it's not terribly out of the question; it still happens a lot by what lore suggests, and I'd likely think that the family who bought her believed she was a servant or something along that line, (of course, they could just have known it, but her treatment seems to me like they might not have). It's also not uncommon for Miqo'te to drop their culture in favor of Eorzea's, both of mine are far-gone from theirs.
All-in-all, I like it! I'd likely never meet you in-game being as I'm always on the forums, but I have a nurse/medic character in Limsa I'm putting the finishing details on if you'd be up for Forum RP.
