There are definitely storytellers and RPers out there that crave and thrive on good storytelling.  Tavern RP and random encounters are just a way to meet people.  Once you find that you gel... then you can PLOT to your heart's content.   That's the RP I am used to! I used to play D&D (Forgotten Realms setting), Rifts, World of Darkness, Traveller, Shadowrun and others. I love big adventures.
