There's a slow-pan at 3:06 that shows they're similar but not actually the same. Specifically, the boots and the skirt on the armor aren't identical.

I noticed the similarities too, but handwaved them given how shiny and new the WP HM pally's set looks.

It's probably safe to say that the coliseum/taffeta/whatever sets are an anomaly and most new sets will be dungeon/crafted. It's an MMO, they want you to put time into getting stuff. It's not just so your alts with 15 minutes of game time can look pretty, they want you to slog to 50 and pay for your sub.

Light Steel/Taffeta were mostly there because you couldn't dye these sets originally and made for a decent enough reason to grind crafting.

Seeing as we're going to go into an expansion soon there's no point in grinding crafting to 4-star (I personally want 3-star Weaver because it's the only universal male skirt in the game). It's not like there'll be anything past 4-star, and likely all that melded shit will be replaced with a level 51 HQ crafting piece.

Although, we don't know what kind of gear will be expected of us in the expansion.

IT'S OKAY. SNOWCLOAK IS REALLY AWESOME AND NORMAL SHIVA IS REALLY EASY.

Seriously, though. Snowcloak was my favorite of the current "new" dungeons. Super excited to see the new Wanderer's Palace once that hits, though, just because I want to rescue me some Tonberries.

... And I still want a way to dress up like a Tonberry.

The music's not -that- bad.

Tips for Shiva. Just be OT. Smash Shiva. Avoid aoes. Stay in middle when it has an aoe in the the middle and then starts to circle outside.

Pick up 4 adds. Bring to middle. Aoe them.

Make sure MT remembers it is HM and not EM. tank must eat sword form by himself.

When she says a phrase (I think) "The cycle is upon us" = everyone should be spreading out. Little marks will appear over you and there's an aoe circle you don't want to overlap (someone should not be in more than just one or their own circle.
