In my shame (and general lackadaisical treatment of music to begin with), and even as, ah, seasoned as I am, I had never even HEARD of Blind Guardian until Steel Wolf mentioned them.. and I've been listening to them for three days solid now.

If you like Blind Guardian you should also check out Demons and Wizards, a side project by their singer and Jon Schaffer from Iced Earth (who are also pretty good IMO).

Deff familiar with Demons and Wizards (Blood on my hands being my favorite). Haven't listened to Iced Earth in ages though xD
