I'm actually amazed that someone like Coatleque(who, from a distance, I have always perceived as a law-abiding badass) actually managed to pull that off.

Also, I was meant to add to my initial post that their emotes are REALLY scary at times. That said, so are those of the male highlanders.... to the point it makes you laugh.

Working as intended!
Crofte is one of those people who always appears in armor, official, on the job, etc. So when she does dress up on occasion it has maximum impact.

And I agree entirely about the emotes. /surprised and /shocked are my favorite

Highlanders are my all-time favorite, both when it comes to looks and lore.Â
I made Nailah be the smallest a highlander can be, and it's been a bundle of fun to play with - she has been called a "shortlander" among other things, which always gives some fun reactions.Â

I like roegadyn ladies, but I don't think I could ever play one myself. Though it's not so much looks that deter me as it is their lore. I just don't find it as appealing.

I actually wish I could have put some chub on Iskierka, because with her no longer living in the desert, she's making money and living where there is no shortage of food, she has been eating ALL THE THINGS. Plus, she reads books all day. There is no way she's your average rock solid Highlander living like that.

I'm actually with Edvyn in that I've seen far more highlander women than midlanders. Also, the only time I have noticed an excess amount of miqo'te in comparison to other races was at Gold Saucer. More on topic though, I don't find either race intimidating and I don't think I have a character(other than a silly lalafel) that would either. Having said that, highlander women just don't look good in cutesy/overly-feminine clothes in my experience.
I'm sure there could be exceptions of course! But.... at least in general, no.... the body type and pose just shout a whole different charisma to me.
