I think people did talk about how Balmung has been congested since about last year and half ago that it was wise to let new communities build their own. But it was thrown into garbage can because most Balmung community felt that it was important to stick everyone in one server.Â

So yeah, we do have more players than Heavensward launch. Data transfer to stabilize or not, it's bound to crash frequently in Balmung for first week imo. Early Access will just be unplayable then first week of that will be worse for those who wanted to play right on the launch date.

Now look where that's got us, and we're paying for it :p (literally with transfers, I'm really glad that's not an option anymore. I don't want people to pay extra just to get RP). This was needed earlier, hence why I suggested an EU RP designation when SE first offered free transfers to the EU datacenter, but even that was scrapped because people said "no we should stay on Balmung where it's all at."

So we are 14 days out from Stormblood. The poll has been resting for a few weeks now and there are going to be even more people joining. Do we feel like we should get the next big poll under way?Â

Of the servers voted on it seems like Mateus, Faerie, Jenova and Sargantas had the most support between the poll here and on Tumblr. Would it be best to limit to those four choices?

Possibly, but it will be affected if one or more of them aren't on the transfer list. It would still give us a pretty clear cut favorite though.

I am not able to vote but.. I would like to say that I am knowing more people that RP inside Cerberus. It is interesting because it just happen... Sometimes I don't even have the RP flag... I go walking in a city and the RP just starts...

Alright, even if we don't hear about the server transfers I'm going to start the next poll on the 7th. We're starting to cut it close to Early Access and I know a lot of folks are sitting on their hands waiting. If transfer information comes out sooner than that, I'll start the poll that day.

We've finally got information on when the server transfer info will be given out: Thursday the 15th.

I've had a feeling it would be during downtime with the rest of the patchnotes. As soon as we get this info I'll be starting an indefinite poll for people to vote on their preferences. I will be noting the options that have free transfers available but outside of that I won't be splitting the poll.
