I am new to FFXIV. I have played many many other mmorpgs in the past and the one I play the most was WoW. I used to RP a lot on WoW but I have a bad tendency of making unimportant loner characters who do not really get to know anyone X_X. I am trying to get more involved in the Roleplay community and so thats why I am here. I hope I can get to know you all and we can have fun roleplaying together. Tongue

I am on the server Gilgamesh. I would like to get involved in some Roleplays although I am not sure how to include my character or how to find any. I followed the same idea of all my past characters andÂ made mine a reclusive loner. So I will need you guys to make my character involved. Cause I do not see how I can involve myself when I try to avoid others. X_X lol. My name is Xefjord Kiromeda. Even reclusive loners can be helpful sometimes. ;P Maybe your character could involve him/herself during a battle of some sort, and go from there. C:Â

Hmm... Well the may way I like to think of my reclusive self is that I like to handle everything myself and not bother others. But I can't handle everything myself which is why I need friends lol. With your battle suggestion. That would be good, but I do not always know who is RPing and even if they are they could just be grinding and not want to RP at the moment. When someone helps you in a fight you ussually don't expect them to be trying to initiate a RP do you? Tongue

Hello Xefjord, welcome to the RPC.

While in character you may not go out of your way to meet people, theres' plenty you can do out of character to facilitate interactions, such as planning to be in an area alongside another event. (If you check the RPC calendar, I believe there is an open event being hosted on the weekend.)

Its a large OOC linkshell on Gilgamesh that helps roleplayers fine other people.

While i'm not on Gilgamesh much i'm sure, if you manage to put yourself out there as the person, your Character will have the chance to get dragged along on an adventure or two.
