I'll spell it out for you.
Your argument is that because there's sexual themes in XIV, there's no call for us, as a community, to tag posts that contain graphic sexual or violent content that might upset someone.
I'm telling you that there's plenty of other settings out there that dive much deeper into these themes, yet the people who play in them have the good grace to tag their stuff so they don't upset anyone. It's a very common thing these days. People usually call them trigger warnings. Being considerate of others isn't hard.
Oh I didn't say it was hard to understand. As a matter of fact I understood it perfectly the first time. I said (not in so many words) that it's silly and an entirely invalid argument.Â
"others do it so we must do it as well" isn't an argument. It's simple as that.Â
No one here or anywhere else on the forum (to my knowledge) has gone anywhere beyond what we see and read every day from NPCs in the game. There's no need to pander to oversensitiveness from people that seem to have no problem with exactly the same things in the game
So do you gain anything by being this stubbornly inconsiderate, other than being spared having to type an extra couple words?
