Some words might be off slightly. I wasn't sure what to do to make Herb/Smoke/Boil into Herbed/Smoked/Boiled, so I chose either ING (n) or Y (i) depending on what sounded right. If something seems completely off, let me know. Also, some dishes / ingredients might not seem typical for Roegadyn, but might be something other races eat. Frog Legs, for example, I would relate to Wildwood Elezen (their names sound very french). Anyway, this isn't completely "done", so I might edit things in or out.

Endemerrin will devour any and all raptor. Favorite food hands down would be a nice haunch of smoked raptor~

Totally didn't bleed over from the fact it was the main DD food in 1.0.

Not sure what you mean. I said I don't know if Roegadyn would refer to their food in the old tongue, but I was bored and playing around with the dictionary. I started off just putting smoked salmon (my character's favorite) into the Roegadyn language, because I thought I'd use it in RP, but I clearly got carried away. Tongue

Â By no means am I trying to say that any or all should use these names in RP, but it's there if anyone wants to. /shrug

Dogberry is strictly pescatarian. Lots of fish and leafy greens. He doesn't like red meat, claiming it sits in his stomach like a rock.

Hornet loves any rich tasting food. And by rich I mean both in flavor and in what it probably cost to make it. Potatoes with herb butter, grilled asparagus, steaks served a little bloody. She's not big on fish and is, alas, lactose intolerant.

Mijisaa loves foods with bold, rich flavors. Â Anything with spice or sourness (that would make others cringe) is up her alley. Â She's not big on sweets and she NEVER overindulgences in food. Â She also doesn't drink alcohol, she's very disciplined in her habits. Mijisaa is from a wealthy family (and is wealthy herself) so she can't actually cook any of her own food though. Her husband Pipituu is the opposite though in all this. Overindulgence is his game! Big Grin

I love these RP prompts!

L'yhta is a fan of simple foods, well prepared. So, she enjoys a great cup of tea, seared fish, jerky, miqo'bobs (they're a "comfort food" for her), and breads and cheeses. She's not much into vegetables unless they're part of a dish, having an almost Ron Swanson approach to them ("That is not food. That is what my food eats."). Being that she's constantly running around and adventuring, she eats a fair amount, though often in small snacks. She's not a fan of big meals, though that's mostly due to the social elements of them.

Her vices are candied fruits -- which she always keeps on hand for snacking, sun lemon and La Noscean orange slices being her favorites -- and alcohol. She's more into beer and spirits than wine, and she particularly appreciates "strange" drinks, such as stone-brewed beers and botanical spirits. She prefers her drinks on the dry side, but is known to like a good spiced rum now and then.

Rinh will eat just about anything so long as it's expertly prepared with fine ingredients. However, having spent so much time on the coast, blackened sea bass has become one of her favourites. She's been known to go without eating if the only option is cheap or tasteless. Of course, her appreciation for a fine red wine is well known amongst her friends.

T'yareth, on the other hand, is just happy to have a full tummy but she does prefer meat, especially fatty dodo. Sweet treats and fruits are foods she would tend to avoid but, if that's all on offer, she isn't going to turn it down. As for beverages, simple ale suits her down to the ground.

Edgar is not a picky eater by any stretch of the imagination. He tends to eat just about anything that is put on his plate, as long as it will not hurt, poison, or kill him.

When it comes to drinks, however, he stresses that he is "not a happy drunk", refusing alcohol in favor of distilled or filtered water, but can be coerced into drinking certain low-tier alcoholic beverages. He will sometimes order alcohol to drown his sorrows, but always regrets it afterwards, as he usually ends up ordering some of the worst the bartender has to offer.

C'kayah loves food, and he's become a pretty serious epicurean gourmand over the years. He doesn't particularly favor any cultures food over the others, so long as it's well-prepared. He enjoys everything from the most sophisticated and complex dishes to the simplest cuts of meat roasted over a fire while on the trail.

^ You forgot alcohol.

Kage enjoys all well-prepared well-seasoned foods. If it's bland he won't eat it. On the same notion, if it's overtly rich and salty he won't eat it. He doesn't particularly love sweets but he does love fruits. He really just enjoys meats and carbs. A nice dodo steak with a cold ale? Yum.
