I actually included that bit specifically because I knew folks were using it in Final Coil. Prior to this patch, there hasn't been a "need" for tank LB since Ultima, an i80 fight. Lower, given the gear rewards.

So according to a reply Yoshi-P made in the JP section of the official forums...

The nerfs for Ninja...

Aeolian Edge: 50TP -> 60 TP

Shadow Fang: 60 TP -> 70 TP

Kiss of the Wasp: increase damage -> increase physical damage

Kiss of the Viper: increase damage -> increase physical damage

Oh, understood, Warren. I'm just saying, it sounds a little odd to go "well, tank LB isn't useful... except in all these cases where it is!" I was all "...wat."

One day I will understand why Shadow Fang doesn't cost the 80 TP that is standard for most DoW DoTs, especially seeing as how it gets a combo potency of 200. One day....

Yeah, that explanation makes sense. I was just thinking of the comparison where Healer LB is technically useful in any fight anywhere if people are wiping (which can be any single fight in the game, in any dungeon, on any boss) and DPS limits are useful in any fight where the goal is to deplete the enemy's HP (aka every single fight in the game, in every dungeon, on every boss).

Tank LB's got maybe half a dozen useful applications in a couple hundred instances.

Ninja TP costs baffle me.

Personally, the tank lb would be -much- more useful if the % was higher for all levels.

Sometimes that o-shit moment isn't enough when you hit it. :/ (Remember when people hit Tank LB during Garuda? lol)

Why is there never an answer about more level 1 vanity glamour gears? I've asked this question like every Q&A thread and had plenty of likes by players, but it is never answered at all. I wish Yoshi-P would at least give more hint for us that there would be more in the future. Like be dyeable and only be used for outfits.

Makes a lot more sense now - I was wondering how putting poison on your blades helped you do more damage with your ninjutsu mudras.

The only thing the ninja thing changes is that it lowers the DPS potential of the top tier ninjas.

Also Chachan, I agree with you 100%.

Honestly, I love Fistfighters and Hussar's Jackcoat set but only different dyes I've seen are Skywatchers.

And most of these gears dont drop a lot except bunch of cokes and pot-ashes. ;-; (and people barely do these dungeons to farm the gears)

I'll take all your cokes and potashes and farm them with you. Whatever you don't want is likely to be armorer/blacksmith/goldsmiths and those are my desynths because I like hating myself apparently. ^^
