For those who don't know, Sony and Microsoft had recently been experiencing technical issues regarding the online functionality of there systems since Christmas Eve. Some say that this is because of the high-terrific of new users who recently got there Xbox Ones and PS4s, but this is more than likely a DDoS attack by Lizard Squad. Both companies are currently working on a way to fix this as we speak.

Not only are we unable to purchase and redeem anything from their online stores, but we also cannot play with our friends online. This also means I can't log-in and play FFXIV on the PS4. Thanks, Lizard Squad. >_>

I find it hard to take a hacking group that prides itself on slightly delaying people their MMO experience seriously, when everyone else is doing things like poking holes in the US' cyber defenses.

Im on PS4 and I was just on FF XIV.

The issue fluctuates. If you do get in don't log out. You'll regret it because I just did it by accident:/

It /is/ Lizard Squad, but they're little more than some bored script kiddies trying to make themselves known and being douches. Finest Squad caught them and Anonymous has apparently decided that they'd try to find the rest of them, too. Hopefully it won't be an issue for much longer.

Erik hasn't been able to log on for the past two days because of these shenanigans. I've been able to log on here and there but if I do log out; it takes hours to get back in >.>

I now have a love hate relationship with MMO's and online gaming.Â

Love - MMO's never get boring or run out of content because other people are there and not scripted to do the same stuff over and over after you beat a game.Â

Hate - Because of the wonder that is MMO's I now CANNOT PLAY A SINGLE PLAYER GAME TO SAVE MY LIFE IT JUST DOESN'T FEEL THE SAME Q_Q

Been trying to bide my time playing single player AC Black Flag while waiting for psn to work so I can play.Â

->> turns into me spamming the psn login verifier minutes praying I get lucky

->> turns into me getting annoyed

->> turns into me ABOUT to do something productive.Â

->> My friend texts me saying she got logged in psn and is now playing Destiny

->> Hopes high I try to log in again

->> log in fails after several tries

->> I cry manly tears

->> I flip a table (not really but I hit my foot by accident trying to walk. /sadface)

->> I can't do anything extracurricular because it's 10 pm and I'll be damned if I go to a friends house right now.

->> I use my working non psn internet to come here and share my pain.

->> I pray someone here will hug me and tell me I'll be ok soon after reading this.

Welp, I'm back online in the game as well, but I'm staying online until this issue is completely resolved. >_>
