Oh how I LOVE Nobuo Uematsu!! I consider his work on Lost Odyssey to be the pinnacle of his career. I'm also digging the direction XIV is taking
 . The battle music is the best.

Seriously, he's up there, in my opinion, among the top 5 composers of the past 50 years. Admittedly, I don't study, nor have I ever studied music.

Funny old guy with a stache in a studio full of instruments and a table ping pong table, who just waits for the inspiration to hit him and composes right there on the spot without a score?
The man is a genius! Yay for Keeper of the Moon Miqo'te, too! Though I was sure he'd say Lalafell for some reason.

Guy gets so much respect and admiration from his fans.
And I honestly think he deserves it. Who can't admire a guy who has a pingpong table in his work studio? xD He made a fine choice of character too! :3

Nobuo Uematsu is my favorite composer. I just wish they hadn't disbanded the Black Mages... *sniffles* Still, has anyone heard of his new group, the Earthbound Papas?
