If you want to run a plot, great, I wholly encourage creativity, but expecting everyone to consent to things getting blown up around them is asking a bit much. Especially when it can interfere with their own plots, events, and derail their RP.
This concisely puts my thoughts to words. Please, OP, Â consider what the posters in this thread are saying. Even if they disagree with you, they need to be considered because they're the ones being almost forced to deal with the aftermath of the fanon you're trying to push on the community for the sake of your personal story and Free Company.
At this point, I just stopped caring about how I want to approach to this event. It's rather a concern that no matter what I do, it's looked down upon and people will criticize me or just avoid in interacting with me. But I won't mention names of course.
