Now, yes, WAR is about anger and rage, but thematically it still deals with a 'force from within'. If DRK did the same, they would be similar. Both dealing with internal forces, just different kinds.

Other jobs such as Monk and Dragoon tend to go with the 'force within' thing as well (Chakras, INNER DARGUN). WAR is honing one's own fury without allowing it to become wanton, directionless rage. Remember, the inner beast is still oneself! DRK hasn't really been elaborated on in the FFXIV universe, but we do know that they will use 'dark magic' and that 'you don't have to be evil to use dark magic'.

I would assume that the Dark Knight utilizes a force from without, rather than within! Of course that is just speculation on my part, given that we don't have much to work with on them yet.Â

As for warriors, they aren't so much brooders as fighters with short tempers that they have to manage!

Aren't Warriors the brooders of FFXIV?
