It appears to be a new Trial-esque instance, with a focus on defending a specific point against attackers.
I like that idea, because up until now, it's always been about us going through a dungeon to kill something, or meeting at a specific point...to kill something. This looks like it could be less of a standard epic confrontation deal, with failure/success dependent more on our ability to protect key targets than just our mere survival.
