If you're in need of guards, I'm very willing to bring my character, Kaniku, along. She's an Immortal Flames corporal and a recent immigrant to Eorzea with the rest of the Doman refugees and could really, really use the experience. While she's really only made the position due to having a tinkerer/goldsmith background before coming to Eorzea and became a company clerk much like "Radar" O'Reilly from M*A*S*H, she's actually much, much more gifted with the sword than she'll talk about.
