Minor statement on that: If you're a legacy character from 1.0, you should automatically be given a bottle of Fantasia when you log in for the first time. This allows you to access the character creation screen on an already-existing character and completely change them: Race, height, you name it, everything is allowed to get edited. You could, in theory, keep playing the same account and just do a makeover for the character attached to it! I think SE also offers name changes for like, ten bucks. Well, I know they offer them, but I'm not sure of the pricing off-hand.
