As a side note, during my time playing I would frequently jot down some of the lore tidbits concerning Radz at Han and Meracydia (sadly, all that is lost to me now since I can't find my notepad with all the details ; ; ) If I can find it, I'll send it your way.
Also, this idea struck me awhile back: Why don't those who wish to contribute to this project for the community come together during Beta and actual release to harvest as much lore as possible? Perhaps have a certain group focus solely on Gridnanian lore and another group focus on things like Beastmen primarily. It would be a huge boon to the community and would help get more lore in more frequently. Again just a thought, but either way, I'm willing to offer a hand. :approve:
From what I remember of Meracydia, it was small island to the south of Aldenard that was covered with thick jungle. It was also home to a more tribal and nomadic race. I don't think they ever said which race it was but I do know for sure the mask of the Kple Kple staff was originally from there and was brought over to Aldenard by a visiting tribe that was originally from Meracydia. What happened to them is beyond me because they never touched on it.
"This staff is said to have been created by a powerful conjurer who took the taproot of an ancient rosewood tree burned to the ground by a levinbolt, and fixed to it a ceremonial sun mask used by the primitive tribes on the distant southern continent of Meracydia. The magicked weapon is said to grant its wielder the ability to hear the whispers of the elementals."
