I would think that it may make more sense to use 'coeurl' rather than Miqo'te. Â Especially since you have the hard 'c' there so you still get the fun alliteration of things like 'Curiosity killed the coeurl.'
True facts - I guess someone let the coeurl out of the bag.
You could for sure refer to 'cat things' as miqo'te but I've had people icly refer to my keeper as a 'kitty' and that's p much just boardline racist - basically calling my character an 'animal'. So I mean you could totally do this but I'd be pretty aware that this is more than likely implied/casual racism than anything else.Â
I do think coeurl would work a ton better - we have the kitten and the black coeurl and have seen/heard of them otherwise being kept as pets
