I'd like to point out one more thing...
If you're going to be dealing with primals and killing them on your own, you should be mindful that a) your character must either be a WoL or have the echo at major major MAJOR risk of being tempered and/or just slaughtered outright without Hydaelyn's blessing.Â
I was talking to someone in my FC and if you have the 1.0 version of the echo as part of your character's...history(?) and were of the people transported 5 years into the future ICly, then it may make sense for you to be able to be a cut above the rest and have less risks if you were say, one of the many people sacrificed to Ifrit by the Immortal Flames just to keep him at bay >>
