I doubt that Mia is known much at all outside of Gridania and even then that's probably limited to the North Shroud.
Gridania: North Shroud. Â Mia is one of four survivors of the Red River Clan, an outlaw family consisting of some of the Moui, Bahjiri, and Kaatapoh families. The Red River Clan was mostly known for being involved in waste management but were actually producing and distributing substances like somnus and trafficking in poached meat, furs, and hides. While the Red River Clan were not known for poaching, it was this suspicion that led to an investigation by Wood Wailers. Â A case of mistaken identity resulted in the death of a Wood Wailer and the arrest of an uncle to Mia.
This notoriety was overwhelmed by the Calamity when the Red River Clan was apparently destroyed in the fallout. Â That Mia Moui and three of her younger sisters showed up alive in the North Shroud years after the event was a shock to locals but was not news outside of the immediate area.
Shortly after, when her sisters were abducted, presumably by bandits who assisted in the trafficking of Miqo'te women and girls, Mia Moui's determination to find them became known to many. Â Finding Gridanian authorities to be antagonistic and less than helpful, Mia left for Ul'dah thinking that was the most likely destination for traffickers of all kinds
Ul'dah: Â Mia Moui is barely perceptible among the crowds of that city-state. She is just another Miqo'te, just another newcomer, just another adventurer, just another mouth needing to be fed. Â However, a few of the residents in the Silver Bazaar had come to know Mia as a hard worker who dutifully helped maintain the docks, assisted in hunting game, and acted as an occasional guard against unwelcome visitors.Â
Limsa Lominsa: Tracking a lead about her sisters to Limsa Lominsa, she pleaded with local authorities to turn over any information they had about the trafficking of Miqo'te women and girls. Â She was told they didn't have such information but Mia did not believe them. Â She got into a bar fight at the Drowning Wench and was arrested. Â Mia was then escorted out of Limsa Lominsa and dropped off in Lower La Noscea. Â She has since made her way back to Thanalan.
Mia has not been able to visit any of the other nations or city-states.
