Balmung is definitely the place to go if you want to do considerable amounts of RP.
Most people are friendly if you just talk to them and setting up RP using this site makes it that much easier to find a group of people to do it with you.
You will run into an A-Hole every now and then on the server, but if you've ever pugged a dungeon I am sure you are used to it. Â
I have been back and forth primarily between Balmung and Sargatanas and can tell you from experience the RP community on Balmung is very friendly and open to new people.
