Medium is probably a good 50-50 spread, where as light is probably below 25%. There's no real set-in-stone guideline though.Â
Ah, alright. Â Guess something like that is needed for a MMO.
As for Agrias, heck yes she's awesome. Â FFT is one of my favourite games of all time. Â I'd definitely play a Holy/Divine/Temple Knight if there was a job like that on FFXIV. Â If the Dark Knight wasn't considered a tank and had some abilities that were FFT-like I'd so be going for that.
Eh, the "rating" stuff doesn't really get all that much use- you just RP however much you want to, and if you really want to adopt a label, you certainly can. Not everyone does. MMO RP is definitely a bit of a different sauce than tabletop, but not because of needing ratings. It's not all that different from (or at least, my experiences on) NeverWinter Nights on the persistent world RP servers. That is, roleplay here in an MMO is still a PW where even if you're offline, plotlines and characters can advance and develop without you knowing. There can be spontaneous events and encounters even when you're online. It's a bit of a tradeoff compared to the tabletop world where everything is generally event-driven rather than a 24-7 steady progression. On the one hand, you get a much more immersive, living, and dynamic experience... but on the other, you also miss out on so much and it's much more labor intensive than just having a set schedule. Order and chaos, pretty much!Â
Tactics definitely takes a spot in my top-10 list, and I'd be right there with you if they ever released a class like that for FFXIV! Gosh. Kasi would hit the hell out of that. It'd be amazing to have ranged sword skills like Lightning Stab or Stasis Sword. We can dream... for now I'll have to settle to doing dungeons to the soundtrack instead.
