Huh. I never got the rosy picture vibe from Ul'dah at any point. Quite the opposite. That might be because the idea of "monetarists" being a governing body is really abhorrent to me though. (And yes, I realizing I'm living on the wrong planet for those sentiments, tbh, lol.)
Nor have I, but had been a failing opinion of this community at times. Misguided attempts of justice RP taken out of the context of a realistic look at the city into the realm of pompous or narrow view of the complexity of both the lore and the other players in an RP relationship.
