"None. That I know of, that is. I suppose it would be possible to have siblings somewhere."

"I haven't lived in a single place, since I left the Styrjaega to join the Maelstrom. Even then, the ship was always docked in different places. Nowadays, I rent Inn rooms when I can afford it. As for with whom, I hardly think this glowing bilge rat counts as a whom but it is there too."
6.What is your occupation?
"-sigh- My papers say I'm an Arcanist now."

"Is this really necessary on a job application? I guess it is. Clearly, I am a Hyur. I'd say I'm average build but on the short side, for a Highlander anyway. I have burgundy hair that is at constant war with my vision. I might cut it all off now that I think about it. Gold eyes, born that way. I swear it isn't scurvy. I have scars everywhere, but I'm sure you have already noticed the prominent one across my face. As for clothing, I'll wear whatever is required for the job, but I refuse to be under-dressed or unprepared."

"Well, they always said we were just above the pirates when I was growing up. On second thought, that might of just been a jealous insult. In truth, I used to be Navy. Now, I am unsure."

"I an't got any diseases or sicknesses, beyond healthy in that regard. -sigh- I can't run anymore. Right leg is lame."

"What?"

"None, that I can think of. (Tends to phrase things with uncertainty)"

"Just my pockets? A quill, a journal, some ink, this ... this thing- I'm not sure what it is, a couple gil, my dagger -what? I sure as hell can't defend myself from a surprise attack with this dumb book. You know what? Forget the rest."

"Sometimes I slip into a seafolk accent. I tried to ditch that when I joined the Maelstrom, though. I think I might talk in my sleep. People have mentioned it, lately."
Part 2: Growing Up
15. How would you describe your childhood in general?
"I was raised on a mercenary ship. I would guess that is not normal."
16. What is your earliest memory?
"Hmm ... the clearest one is of Moernmoen rushing towards me, his axe swinging past me, and then plucking me up and running for the ship."
17. How much schooling have you had?
"Moernmoen taught me how to read and write. I was taught math, astrology, and navigation by the captain, herself."

"I didn't go to school."

"Simply living on a ship will teach you a lot of skills. In the down times, sailors taught me everything from knots, to close quarter fighting, and even some things I'm sure Moernmoen would not approve of."

"The captain. Smart, confidant, and strong. She runs the finest ship in the sea. Oh, and my father, of course."

"For one, I was grateful. I may of been five, but I knew my life was saved that day. They didn't have to keep me either. They could of dumped me off at the nearest orphanage, but they never even thought of it. Every single one of those sailors is my family. I care for all of them. Of course, with all families, there were rough spots, but nothing we didn't work through."
22. As a child, what did you want to be when you grew up?
"Um, well as a child, probably the captain of my own ship."

"Climbing, races with the crew, play fighting."

"Not investing in better armor ... and all the lives we lost that day."

"Pessimism has saved me before, but I just try to see things as they are."

"I died and am still here. The answer is yes."

"I'd rather not commit to that. I would like to think I'd never kill someone who didn't deserve it. I choose to refuse certain jobs and lifestyles, but I don't know all the circumstances, now do I?"

"Hmm, to die for ... I'd fight for any number of things. Risk my life for just as many. At one time, I would of told you in a heartbeat, I'd died for my country, my family, and my way of life. But now, well ... I'm not sure."

"I'll treat people with the respect they deserve. I wouldn't say I'm shy, or anything, but I don't go around blabbering on, either. I guess it is just natural, if we are friends or family, I'd treat you a little different. I dont know!"

"I don't have a husband or child, if that is what you are asking."

"I tell people I'm an adventurer because I'm looking for that reason. I lost my career and my passion when I nearly died. The world moved on without me and I am trying to catch up.
It seems something is pulling me in a certain direction. For what, I am not sure but I bet it isn't coincidence."

"Currently, I wake up, fill out job applications with really weird questions, hopefully get the job and work, light lunch, work some more, dinner, go to sleep. I wouldn't mind it being disrupted. It is rather dull."

"Finally, some real job application questions. Hard work and dedication."
86. What is your greatest weakness?
"-light lift in voice- I just work too hard for my own good. That'll get me the job, right?"
87. If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be?
"I wouldn't have a bum leg."

"Introverted, I suppose."

"Organized"

"Um, good with my hands, a problem solver, and loyal. I'm not very swift, don't know the social graces, and -sigh- not very good at reading, especially quickly."

"Mostly."
92. What are your reasons for being an adventurer (or doing the strange and heroic things that RPG characters do)?  Are your real reasons for doing this different than the ones you tell people in public?  (If so, detail both sets of reasons…)
"I tell people I'm an adventurer because I'm looking for that reason. I lost my career and my passion when I nearly died. The world moved on without me and I am trying to catch up.
It seems something is pulling me in a certain direction. For what, I am not sure but I bet it isn't coincidence."
93. What goal do you most want to accomplish in your lifetime?
"I'm not sure. Happiness? World peace?"
94. Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
"Still filling out this form."
95. If you could choose, how would you want to die?
"But you don't get to choose, do you."
96. If you knew you were going to die in 24 hours, name three things you would do in the time you had left.
"Write Moernmoen a letter, eat the best food and drink I could find, and spend the rest of the time doing something extremely dangerous, like fighting the Sahagin in their stronghold."
97. What is the one thing for which you would most like to be remembered after your death?
"That I was good?"

"loyal, good-natured, determined"

"serious, lost, helpful"
