Caysen was built around the image of a compass, and he always carries one, so that's definitely what symbolizes him the most.

If Ryanti were to have an item on him that defines him, hm... there are three I would like to mention.
The first is his family's signet ring. Passed down through his family. As per tradition, the style of the rings are exactly the same from one generation to the other, but each individual person gets to pick the gem. The second is the Golden Lionhead Necklace that Ryanti carries with him. When his father was young and ventured himself, he wore this necklace throughout, that had come to define him. Passed on through his son, the symbolism is there. However, Ryanti does not think himself worthy yet of wearing it, so it stays inside of his pocket, and on tables. The third, I would have to say, would be his notebook. In which he writes down anything he feels like he wants to write down. A window to his soul, if you wish. |

Hmm....for Zarek, it'd be a pile of gil or his mother's earring (which he wears). Those are the item-esque things that spring to mind, otherwise it'd probably be the clan tattoo on his shoulder.

This is an interesting question. One I unfortunately cannot fully answer. He has some trinkets and baubles that have some meaning, but nothing that really defines him.
I could say a big pile of rope. Amuro likes to sneak off and take naps inside big coils of rope when he should be un/loading cargo on the docks of Limsa Lominsa. This is a question I'm going to keep in mind as I discover more of who Amuro is. |

For Koyu it's his necklace, which of course is -rarely- seen due to it being buried beneath his sleeping bag of a robe.Â
It represents his faith in Althyk, over Azeyma... I know a few people who might be a bit pissed when they find this tidbit out ICly~ |

For Morelle, it would be a necklace with Nymeia's spinner emblem. It was a family heirloom and all she could find after her parents disappeared the night of the calamity.

Since I can't think of anything for Dietrych, I'll go with nothing. The table would be empty but covered in a thick layer of dust that someone has written "gone adventuring again" in. For a guy like him, the end of the game's adventure would simply be the beginning of another one.

A pair of tiny keys. One unlocks a little box he keeps under his bed. The other is a mystery. Ooooh.
I briefly had a tough time figuring out what he might use, but I opened up the 100 questions I had half answered and they were right there, waiting for me. |

A jagged piece of blood stained coral. It's the piece that was taken from his eye after waking up shipwrecked after the calamity. He still carries it around, much like how he still carries around the memory of what he saw that night.

Theodric's 'key item' would be his lance. He travels often and doesn't tend to be tied down in a particular area for very long, though his weapon is something he takes with him wherever he goes. It was crafted for him by a closer friend over a decade earlier, though he has taken care to repair it and ensure that it remains in excellent shape.
One of his biggest regrets is not really having anything else to remember his friend by. The pair worked in a mercenary group together and were ambushed by one of their own who sought to claim the riches for herself rather than hand it over to their employer. |
